Now that spring has arrived it is time to build new habits. Time to start de-cluttering that backpack! This video gives you step-by-step guidance on how to do that! We recommend cleaning it out AT LEAST once a week! Knowing exactly where items are saves you time and energy!

Create a Study Environment Anywhere

Studying can be done Anywhere!

This step by step video guides you in creating the perfect study environment no matter your the setting! 

Doing some Studying? Here are two examples of some great study spaces! Students can spread out and there aren't many distractions. They also have chairs that give the student support to do work. 

Sometimes we have to share study (and work) spaces! Studying/working as a family can model good habits for our students! Also note how you can take a space and divide it for everyone's individual use. In addition, everyone surrendered their cell phones! Materials: OLD FOLDERS!

Backpacks allow for storage of items not being used by the student.

Making a Study Space Anywhere!

Note that the computer is faced outward so that a parent/guardian can monitor that the screen stays on nature sounds! The book bag serves as a storage area holding all resources that are not being used and helps reduce clutter!

Simple But Functional

Some schedules are direct and to the point! They don't have to be aesthetically pretty, they just need to be able to help a student have an agenda and keep them regimented in order to get their work done! Note the simplicity of this schedule. 

45 minute periods with transitions, hand made, and consistent for all days.
